How to watch, schedule for Elle St. Pierre at the Paris Olympic Games
Elle St. Pierre's dream of an Olympic podium finish officially starts Tuesday, Aug. 6, with the opening round of the women's 1,500-meter run.
A 29-year-old dairy farmer from Montgomery, Vermont, St. Pierre is among the medal contenders in the 1,500 at the Paris Olympic Games. The former Richford High School and University of New Hampshire record-setter qualified for the United States Olympic track and field team in two events from the Trials, winning the 5,000 and placing third in super-fast 1,500.

Purrier has opted to compete in her preferred event, the 1,500, in Paris. She owns American indoor records in the mile, two mile and 3,000.
