From the Editor: Burlington Free Press refreshing comics page. Here's what you can read
The Free Press is refreshing our lineup in our print and eNewspaper, offering up some new comics along with longstanding favorites.
We don’t make these kinds of changes lightly. We know that comics are an important part of the experience we offer. We make these changes after surveying our readers and listening to what they have to say.
Starting on Oct. 2, the updated package of comics will bring fresh voices to our comics page along with familiar faces.
On weekdays, look for Blondie, Zits, Beetle Bailey, Family Circus, Hagar, Dennis the Menace, Garfield, Peanuts, For Better or for Worse, Baby Blues, Pickles, Pearls Before Swine, Jump Start, Ziggy, Marmaduke, Non Sequitur and Crabgrass.
The Sunday comics section will feature all of the weekday comics as well as Foxtrot, Crankshaft, Luann, Baldo, Frank & Ernest and Born Loser.

Regular readers will notice that some long-time favorites are missing from this list but many of those comics can be found online at https://www.burlingtonfreepress.com/comics/.
As a trusted source of local news and content in our community, we continuously evaluate our content and how to best serve our audiences. That includes our offerings on the comics pages, which have historically evolved to reflect the culture and tastes of the times.
I hope you enjoy our new lineup of comics and thank you for being a Burlington Free Press reader.
