Vermont H.S. baseball: 2024 Vermont Twin State roster unveiled

Vermont will seek to extend its winning streak with the return of the Twin State Baseball Classic this weekend.

Eighteen of the top senior players from the Green Mountain State make up the team that will represent Vermont against New Hampshire for Saturday's doubleheader matchup at Colby-Sawyer College’s Kelsey Baseball Field in New London, New Hampshire.

First pitch of the twinbill is slated for 10 a.m. Admission to the event is free.

Originally held from 1983 to 2004, the series returned to its current doubleheader format in June 2015. A year ago, Vermont ran past the Granite Staters 15-0 in a single nine-inning contest at Norwich University to push its winning streak to three games in a row, according to a news release.

The Vermont coaches are Trevor Coyne (Mount Anthony), Dan Kiniry (Spaulding) and Mike Lacourse (North Country).
